Descending – Nominated for highest Canadian TV Awards

The 13-episode, adventure travel dive series, ‘Descending’ has received four nominations for Canadians most prestigious Television Awards, the ‘Canadian Screen Awards’.
Nominations are in the following categories:
* Best Science or Nature Documentary Program or Series
* Best Photography in a Documentary Program or Series
* Best Picture Editing in a Documentary Program or Series
* Best Sound in an Information/Documentary Program or Series
The 2013 Canadian Screen Awards (previously Gemini Awards) is an award ceremony, organized by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television, which celebrates Canadian productions in film, digital media and television.
This is a huge victory for the entire Descending team, regardless of the final outcome.
The inaugural Canadian Screen Awards ceremony will be held on March 3rd 2013 to honor the achievements in Canadian film and television.
