Published on Friday, September 13th, 2013, under Media

13 & 14 September 2013

A brand new North Canterbury festival to celebrate spring in a beautiful part of the world. A selection of great activities are planned over two days. Activities involve floral decoration in the stone church, market stalls, wine tasting, garden tours ($10), historic and horticultural guided tours ($2) of the Domain and a ballet recital amongst the flowers ($10). Saturday features a host of free children’s activities in the Domain and for the sporty folk, there’s a golf tournament on Sunday morning and the Cheviot Lions Club Sports Quiz is on the Friday night at the Cheviot Trust Hotel.

Isn't this the most spectacular view? Taken from one of the open homes and gardens on the Garden Tour today. Tickets still available from the Paddock Cafe, gardens close at about 3pm.
