‘Kiwi Dive Safari’ is an exciting and fast paced adventure television series, anchored around diving New Zealand’s diverse range of marine environments.
This series showcases a variety of diving experiences and provides the audience with a taste of the exciting oceanic adventures available in and around New Zealand’s coastline and outlying islands.
Viewers will follow our presenters, Ellis Emmett (hyperactive adventure-daredevil) and Lisa Riley (vivacious dive professional,) as they head away on their latest dive safari that will make them the envy of any aquatic adventurer.

On arrival at each location Lisa Riley and Ellis Emmett meet up with local diving and outdoor enthusiasts who accompany them, exploring the best diving available.
A strong focus on the spectacular scenery and underwater imagery,as well as maps, graphics and aerial shots will be made, highlighting such things as geographical situation, history, weather and inaccessibility.

During the thirteen episode series Ellis and Lisa will meet and interact with interesting people and creatures along their journey. They will dive with seals, dolphins and big sharks, catch monster crayfish and visit many shipwrecks, including the sunken Russian cruse liner the Mikhail Lermontov.
